Kind Community Week Kick-Off Celebration

Old Town Pocatello area near Center St. Underpass
The 3rd Annual Kick-Off Celebration for Kind Week 2017 will take place in Old Town Pocatello from 5-9pm. Free admission to this Family-Friendly event featuring art, activities, vendors, food, music and more. Come Celebrate Kind with Kind Community and Old Town Pocatello! For more information about the Kick-off Celebration, how to become a vendor, and for further details about additional activities and events taking place that week, please visit www.kindcom.org .
During the event The Kind Village will be dedicated to all of the Kindness found in our community! If your child/children have not had an opportunity to paint a piece of the village, please submit the form below to register them for the next painting opportunity taking place during the Kind Community Week Kick-Off Celebration in Old Town Pocatello. From 5-8pm on September 18, children will have the opportunity to paint 150 more pieces for The Kind Village.

Registered children may arrive any time between 5pm and 8pm to paint. Painting will take place on the East side of the Center Street Underpass. Please be sure your children wear paint clothes. Painting can be messy. Thank you!

Haunted History Walking Tours
There is always something happening in Old Town Pocatello! The Summer months feature Revive @ 5 free weekly concerts every Wednesday and the Portneuf Valley Farmers Market every Wednesday and Saturday. We host First Friday Art Walk on the first Friday of every month, all year long, from 5-8pm. Along with the everyday excitement of shopping in our beautiful shops and dining in the variety of our international restaurants, there's also special events, parades and activities for the entire family. Come experience the charm of Old Town Pocatello and see what you've been missing.

Kind Community Kick Off Celebration, Monday September 18!
On September 18, Old Town Pocatello and Kind Community are partnering to present our community with this year’s Kind Week Kick-off Celebration. From 5-9pm there will be food, music, activities, trolley rides and more for the families of Pocatello and Chubbuck. The event will take place on the East and West sides of the Center Street Underpass, in the Underpass, and along Union Pacific Avenue. Saturday September 30! The AV Center Professional Aviation Services, Teton Honda and Teton Hyundai are proud to present the 12th Annual Oktoberfest Street Party at Portneuf Valley Brewing on Saturday, September 30th! Gates open at 4pm with live music featuring Hot Pursuit, The Kyd-J Band and Gas, Food & Lodging beginning at 5pm. Beer, brats, music, and Oktoberfest fun for the entire family. Half price admission for ISU students. Plan to join the street party after the ISU homecoming game!
October First Friday Art Walk Friday October 6! Old Town will be alive with crowds this Friday as we host the September First Friday Art Walk. Don't miss this opportunity to view and experience art by local artists as well as regional and national artists. The walk includes over twenty businesses, restaurants and galleries, some with art on display, some with the artist on hand and some providing a live demonstration. Refreshments are always available. You may also find live music along the way. All local residents and visitors are welcome. There is no charge to attend monthly Art Walks.
The Great Pumpkin Festival
Saturday October 7! Vendor registration is now open for The Great Pumpkin Festival coming to Old Town Pocatello on Saturday, October 7. This new festival on Main Street will feature the Portneuf Valley Farmers Market, apple pie baking contest, pumpkin painting, antiques, crafts, jewelry, food, music and more, celebrating fall and the coming holidays.
