First Friday Art Walk
May 5
Children Ages 2-17 Welcome!

On Friday May 5, local kids will begin creating sidewalk chalk art at 2:30pm.  Drawing will continue until 5pm when Art Walk begins and our community can enjoy the wonderful hand-drawn art.  Every child that registers in advance and creates a sidewalk chalk drawing will receive an Old Town T-shirt and a free ice cream cone from Old Town Ice Cream & Candy, along with coupons and information from the merchants in Old Town Pocatello.

Taking place at the Old Town Pavilion on Friday and Saturday, a Home Décor and Rummage Sale!  From 10am to 5pm on Friday and from 9am to 1pm on Saturday browse through lots of home décor items and more at this sale taking place inside. 

 

This Week At The Farmers Market

It's Opening Day!  The Portneuf Valley Farmers Market will open on Saturday May 6 for the season.  The Market will be open every Saturday from 9am to 1pm through the end of October.  Located at the Old Town Pavilion, 420 N. Main St., the Portneuf Valley Farmers Market brings the community of Pocatello and Chubbuck fresh produce, locally grown plants, trees and shrubs, hanging flower baskets, fresh baked goods, jams, jellies, honey and a varienty of handmade arts and craft items.  Come shop the Market!  This week you will find some great ideas for Mother's Day along with the perfect plants for your planting and landscaping needs. Buy local and help support over 100 local growers, artists and crafters.  Fresh, Local & Friendly at the Portneuf Valley Farmers Market.  See you at the Market!

In the summer of 2000, the Pocatello-Chubbuck Chamber of Commerce Beautification Committee began placing hanging flower baskets on the light posts throughout Old Town Pocatello. It takes sponsors like you to keep the baskets up each year. Businesses, community service groups, schools, and even individuals can sponsor a basket. To become a sponsor simply print and complete the form below then return it to the Pocatello-Chubbuck Chamber of Commerce.

There is always something happening in Old Town Pocatello!  The Summer months feature Revive @ 5 free weekly concerts every Wednesday and the Portneuf Valley Farmers Market every Wednesday and Saturday.  We host First Friday Art Walk on the first Friday of every month, all year long, from 5-8pm. Along with the everyday excitement of shopping in our beautiful shops and dining in the variety of our international restaurants, there's also special events, parades and activities for the entire family.  Come experience the charm of Old Town Pocatello and see what you've been missing.
