Upcoming Events

 

The Old Town Pocatello Christmas adventure begins Friday, November 29 at 6:30pm when “A Night So Bright” Lights Parade starts winding its way through Old Town Pocatello. Rudolph has given presenting sponsor ISU Credit Union 2,000 reindeer antlers to be given away along the parade route to children 12 and under. Hundreds of floats will have candy and treats for the kids. The parade route is the same as last year, running from 3rd and East Center and traveling under the Center Street Underpass to The Yellowstone and turning to travel North on Main Street to the Old Town Pavilion.  You can visit our website, www.oldtownpocatello.com, to view the parade map, or to register a float.  Registration will be open until 5pm next Wednesday.

 

Plan to visit Old Town for the Candy Cane Event & Santa on Saturday, November 30!  Visit the shops and restaurants of Old Town to discover Candy Canes!  To celebrate Small Business Saturday, 100’s of Candy Canes will be available as you shop, dine and play downtown. Some Candy Canes have a value, up to $100. The day will also feature a variety of free, family friendly activities including:  photos with Santa at Station Square, make a jingle bell necklace at Poky Kids, enjoy frosting cookies and milk at The Yellowstone Restaurant, write letters to Santa with Mrs. Claus at Kanda’s & Co., make and take an ornament at Cherub Capers Creations, visit with Ruddy the Reindeer and get some snow-to-go at Poky Dot Boutique, paint a Dr. Seuss Tree or Whoo-cicle at The Elwen Cottage.  The Citizens Community Bank Old Town Trolley will also be running with free rides for families.  All of the fun will run from 11am to 3pm, or while supplies last.

Idaho Bridal Fair will return to Pocatello on Saturday, February 29, 2020.  Beginning at 9am, inside the Red Lion Hotel Pocatello, we will showcase everything a bride and groom needs to plan the perfect wedding, honeymoon and future.  From florists to jewelers, and from caterers to entertainment, local businesses will display their products and services designed to help orchestrate the day you will treasure forever.  

 

There is always something happening in Old Town Pocatello!  The Summer months feature Revive @ 5 free weekly concerts every Wednesday and the Portneuf Valley Farmers Market every Wednesday and Saturday.  We host First Friday Art Walk on the first Friday of every month, all year long, from 5-8pm. Along with the everyday excitement of shopping in our beautiful shops and dining in the variety of our international restaurants, there's also special events, parades and activities for the entire family.  Come experience the charm of Old Town Pocatello and see what you've been missing.
