Urban Invasion Obstacle Challenge

Pocatello’s only 5K obstacle race is coming on Saturday, April 28th. RE/MAX and Guild Mortgage present the 6th Annual Urban Invasion Obstacle Challenge.  This is a four person race, so grab your three most adventure seeking buddies and register your team to compete your way through Old Town Pocatello.


Along the course you’ll encounter 20 crazy obstacles built by local businesses and organizations. Test your mettle against other invasive runners and win great prizes and bragging rights.   

May 4 First Friday Art Walk

On Friday May 4, Old Town Pocatello will host the monthly First Friday Art Walk.  Come enjoy art, music, food, fashion and more at this month’s Art Walk, from 5-8pm with free admission and free parking.  

 

First Friday Art Walk takes place on the first Friday of every month, all year long.  Rain or shine, you are invited to come enjoy our art community!

The Market will be open every Saturday from 9am to 1pm through the end of October, and every Wednesday from the end of May through August from 5-8pm.  Located at the Old Town Pavilion, 420 N. Main St., the Portneuf Valley Farmers Market brings the community of Pocatello and Chubbuck fresh produce, locally grown plants, trees and shrubs, hanging flower baskets, fresh baked goods, jams, jellies, honey and a varienty of handmade arts and craft items. Come shop the Market!   Buy local and help support over 100 local growers, artists and crafters.  Fresh, Local & Friendly at the Portneuf Valley Farmers Market.

Join Portneuf Valley Bike To Work, Bannock Planning & Transportation, Pocatello Police Department, College Neighborhood Association & Old Town Pocatello for the Annual Bike Parade & BBQ. On Friday, May 18, bring your kids and your bikes to the Old Town Pavilion for information booths, bike rodeo, BBQ and bike parade. Festivities begin at 5pm and the parade will begin at 6:30pm.

Visit haunted buildings in Old Town Pocatello, not just walk by them, but go inside to learn more about the history of the building and experience for yourself any haunted activity taking place. We are famous for these tours! Tickets for the tours will be available in September 2018.

Bring the family along with baskets to collect the eggs.  Walk shop to shop collecting eggs and great coupons from our merchants. Free photos with the Easter Bunny  from 11am until 2pm.

Friday Art Walk      May 4!   

Old Town will be alive with crowds on May 4, as we host the May First Friday Art Walk. Don't miss this opportunity to view and experience art by local artists as well as regional and national artists. The walk includes over twenty businesses, restaurants and galleries, some with art on display, some with the artist on hand and some providing a live demonstration. Refreshments are always available. You may also find live music along the way. All local residents and visitors are welcome. There is no charge to attend monthly Art Walks.

The Portneuf Valley Farmers Market will open for the 2018 season at 9am.  Enjoy local, fresh produce and more every Saturday from 9am to 1pm at the Old Town Pavilion!  And, every Wednesday from 5pm to 8pm May 23 through August 29 in conjunction with the Revive @ 5 Summer Concerts!
