Registration is now open!  Pocatello's premier 5K obstacle race will be returning to Old Town Pocatello on Saturday, April 29th.  Plan now to compete as SEICAA and Old Town host the 5th Annual Urban Invasion Obstacle Challenge. This four person team race is sponsored by ERA The Brokerage and Guild Mortgage.  Grab your three most adventure seeking friends and register your team to compete east to west through Old Town.  Along the course, encounter 20 crazy obstacles built by local businesses and organizations.  Registration is now open at www.raceentry.com.  Come join the fun and support SEICAA’s emergency services programs. 

 

First Friday Art Walk, May 5!

On Friday May 5, local kids will begin creating sidewalk chalk art at 2:30pm.  Drawing will continue until 5pm when Art Walk begins and our community can enjoy the wonderful hand-drawn art.  Every child that registers in advance and creates a sidewalk chalk drawing will receive an Old Town T-shirt and a free ice cream cone from Old Town Ice Cream & Candy, along with coupons and information from the merchants in Old Town Pocatello.  Registration deadline is April 21.  Click here for the registration form.

 

First Friday Art Walk        

First Friday Art Walk takes place on the First Friday of each month, ALL Year Long
5:00 - 8:00pm

Old Town is alive with crowds of visitors on the first Friday of each month from 5-8pm.  Don't miss this opportunity to view and experience art by local artists as well as regional and national artists. The walk includes over twenty businesses, restaurants and galleries, some with art on display, some with the artist on hand and some providing a live demonstration. Refreshments are always available. You may also find live music along the way. All local residents and visitors are welcome. There is no charge to attend monthly Art Walks. Art Walk guides are available right here on this web site the Thursday before the walk.

Celebrate National Bike To Work Month with Pocatello's Annual Bike Parade!  Kids of all ages are invited to dress up, dress up your bikes and come celebrate and honor the annual awareness campaign to get healthy, save our environment and ride your bike!  Activites begin with face painting, hot dogs, chips and fun at 5pm.  The parade will begin at 6:15pm at the Old Town Pavilion and will end there as well.  No registration is necessary.

Visit four haunted buildings, not just walk by them, but go inside to learn more about the history of the building and experience for yourself any haunted activity taking place. Trek through the stores and restaurants of Old Town to discover Candy Canes just waiting to be found.  To celebrate Small Business Saturday, 100's of blue and white Candy Canes will be placed for hunting as you shop, dine and play downtown.  Each Candy Cane has a value, up to $285.  Total value tops $5,000.  All given away in one huge day downtown!  It pays to shop small!

 
This adventurous day will also  feature complimentary rides on the Old Town Trolley from 11am until 3pm.  The Trolley will depart from the Old Town Pavilion every 15 minutes and the ride will include cookies, milk, story telling and visits with Santa. Eggciting Family Fun Easter Egg Extravaganza! Old Town is the place to be on Saturday, March 24!  Participating merchants will have 15,000 Easter Eggs, that’s right, 15,000 eggs filled with fun items for the kids beginning at 11am. The Easter Bunny will be here, too!  Bring the family along with baskets to collect the eggs.  Walk shop to shop collecting eggs and great coupons from our merchants.
