MUSE Boutique Salon & Spa Presents

Night of 1,000 Santas Festival & Night Lights Parade

Get Your Santa Hat!  Help fill the streets of Old Town with Santas!  Beginning on Friday November 6 during First Friday Art Walk, visit Muse Boutique Salon & Spa at 501 N. Main Street for a complimentary Santa Hat.  1,000 hats will be given to the young and old alike! Santa Hats are a traditional part of the Christmas Season in Old Town Pocatello.

Santa Arrives!  On November 27th, the day after Thanksgiving, “Night of 1,000 Santas Festival and Night Lights Parade” gives our community the opportunity to welcome the Christmas Season.  The festivities begin at 1:00pm when the Citizens Community Bank Old Town Trolley begins providing free trolley rides through Old Town Pocatello until Santa arrives at the Old Town Pavilion at 4:00pm.  Santa will visit with young children until 6:00pm when he will depart for the Parade.  During Santa’s visit there will be music, food, cookies and more all under the Pavilion.  The Talking Christmas Tree will be back this year and Frosty is expected to make a guest appearance as well.  Don’t forget your cameras!

Night Lights Parade Begins!  At 6:30pm the Night Lights Parade will wind its way through Old Town.  This is Southeast Idaho’s largest night lights parade.  The Parade Theme this year is “Riding Through A Winter Wonderland.”  Parade organizers are encouraging all who come out for the parade to wear your Santa Hat so the entire parade route is lined with Santas.

The Parade will begin on 3rd Avenue and East Center Street and will wind its way under the Center Street Underpass turning left on Union Pacific Avenue.  The Parade will turn onto Main Street at the Yellowstone Hotel on West Bonneville.  The Parade will travel North on Main Street to the Old Town Pavilion.  Santa will ride atop Fire Truck #1 at the end of the Parade.  All floats and parade entries are required to have lights and most have thousands. If you would like to enter a float in the parade, registration forms and instructions are available on Old Town’s website, www.oldtownpocatello.com.  Don’t forget to wear your Santa Hat!
